UWOCK staff and friends were excited to join Enbridge Gas at two locations last week for the annual kick-off to the fall campaign season.

The sun was shining as Enbridge Gas staff at the Dawn/Euphemia and Chatham locations celebrated the annual event with food, fun, special guests and a raffle at each location to benefit UWOCK’s fall campaign.

Staff in Chatham got to hear a moving address from Erin Crow, Program Supervisor for Kids’ Circle, Supportive Care and Bereavement Services at VON, who told the crowd that they currently have more than 80 children in the program, which is funded mainly by United Way of Chatham-Kent. She said, “The bulk of our funds come from United Way and this is how we are able to provide these services to our community at no cost to families.”

Information regarding just a few of the initiatives supported by the Enbridge Fueling Futures employee community engagement program were on display, highlighting the important 75-year partnership between UWOCK and Enbridge.

Congratulations to all the raffle winners, and thank you to everyone at Enbridge for your support, community spirit and partnership over 75 years!
