ABOUT THE COVID-19 EMERGENCY SUPPORT FUND
Together, the Co-Investor Table is working to ensure that help reaches those that need it most, and United Way is working to ensure that no one is left behind.
The COVID-19 Emergency Support Funding is intended to provide a much-needed boost to organizations on the frontlines.
This grant is funded in support of government, local businesses, foundations, trusts, and philanthropists, United Way of Chatham-Kent is accepting applications from registered charities, non-profits, and community groups that directly assist with human and social services needs as part of the COVID-19 response as a vital step forward in our country’s rapid response to COVID-19.
Programs and services are eligible for funding if they support:
- Vulnerable seniors (55+)
- Vulnerable youth (0-25)
- People experiencing homelessness
- Emergency food insecurity
- Mental health or problematic substance use
- Intimate partner violence
Qualify as charities in Ontario for the purposes of receiving gifts from other Ontario charities include:
- Registered charities
- Registered national arts service organizations
- Municipalities in Canada
- The Government of Canada, a province, or a territory
Applications for COVID Relief Fund closed on March 31, 2021.
