Volunteers are an incredibly valuable resource for any organization. Without the time, dedication, experience, and passion from volunteers, many great initiatives, fundraisers, and movements wouldn’t be possible.

Jane McFadden has been volunteering with R.O.C.K. Missions as a street nurse, connecting with the homeless in Chatham-Kent on a regular basis.

When asked why she volunteers, Jane says, “It’s my passion, I just love being with people, helping them in any way. This is who I am, it’s in my heart – I see people, not issues.”

She has also helped launch a webinar series on human trafficking to help educate health care workers and the general public about this growing issue in Chatham-Kent.
