Applications Open for COVID-19 Emergency Support Fund Charities, Non-Profits, and Community Groups Invited to Apply for Emergency Support Funding

Together with government, local businesses, foundations, trusts, and philanthropists, the United Way of Chatham-Kent is accepting applications from registered charities, non-profits, and community groups that directly assist with human and social services needs as part of the COVID-19 response.

The intention of the COVID-19 Emergency Support Fund is to make it easy for frontline human and social service organizations to rapidly respond to the effects of the pandemic as they work hard to serve of community’s most vulnerable residents.

Programs and services are eligible for funding if they support:

  • Seniors (55+)
  • Youth (0-25)
  • People experiencing homelessness
  • Emergency food insecurity
  • Mental health/problematic substance use
  • Intimate partner violence

Applications will be accepted and approved on an ongoing basis. Applications received by noon each Thursday will be reviewed the following Friday.
