Operation BackPacks (formerly “BackPacks for Kids”) has been helping families in Chatham-Kent since 2001. The purpose of the program is to ensure that each and every child in Chatham-Kent has a backpack and needed supplies to ensure a great start to an exciting year of learning, exploring and social opportunities.

If you would like to register your child/children to receive a backpack, click on the hyper-link below. Please be sure to fill in all the requested information as we will be following up with you to provide you the necessary details about your request. Pickup of the backpacks will be once again be available at one of our three locations including the Tilbury Information and H.E.L.P. Centre, Wallaceburg Information and H.E.L.P. Centre or United Way of Chatham-Kent’s main office.
