Chatham-Kent Drug Awareness Council
Mission Statement: Working together to raise awareness and reduce harms associated with substance misuse.
Goal: To create supportive environments that promote health and safety using the four pillar approach of prevention, enforcement, treatment, and harm reduction.
Objectives:
- To facilitate public access to valid information and services in the community regarding substance misuse.
- To contribute to and promote in the community the coordinated delivery of health promotion and prevention initiatives.
- To identify local community needs and work collaboratively with community partners to address those needs.
- To foster the development of public policies which reduce the harms associated with substance misuse
- Facilitates Chatham-Kent Drug Strategy
