After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday comes GIVING TUESDAY!

Giving Tuesday is a growing movement for giving and volunteering around the world, across Canada and in our own community. Just as Black Friday kicks off the holiday shopping season, Giving Tuesday is the opening day of the giving season. This year it falls on Tuesday, December 1.

“Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity for United Way to encourage donations to this year’s United Way campaign,” said Karen Kirkwood-Whyte, CEO.  “40,000 residents in Chatham-Kent count on your contribution to continue receiving support from the over 40 agencies, programs and services we fund.”

You can support United Way of Chatham-Kent by visiting our Giving Tuesday page and making a donation.

Giving Tuesday is an initiative of GIV3 and Canada Helps. More information about this movement can be found at http://givingtuesday.ca/.
