Registration for the first Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Network Spring conference is now open. This daylong event held at the John D. Bradley Centre on Friday, April 24, 2015 will bring together nonprofits and charities from all parts of Chatham-Kent.

The lineup of inspiring speakers includes representatives from Imagine Canada, Ontario Nonprofit Network, Pillar Nonprofit Network, Ontario Trillium Foundation, Chatham-Kent Police Service Community Mobilization Strategy and Chatham-Kent Police Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.

A special welcome awaits our keynote speaker Vu Le, Executive Director at Rainier Valley Corps in Seattle, Washington. Vu is also the author of the blog nonprofitwithballs.com, a humourous and informative blog about the challenges facing the nonprofit sector. Vu will speak about working together as a community to build a stronger nonprofit sector.

Join us as we strategize how we can bring together our local nonprofit sector and strengthen its capacity to serve Chatham-Kent. This conference is a great opportunity to begin building a strong and resilient nonprofit sector in our community.

Registration for the conference includes all speaking sessions, continental breakfast and lunch. Purchase tickets here.

Guests are also encouraged to attend Chatham-Kent Timeraiser “i”- a pre-conference gathering the evening of Thursday, April 23, 2015. Admission for this event is included in the conference ticket price.
